A Little About Shawn:
Before joining 12 Stones, Shawn was the bassist for the band "Silence is Broken" and also worked at Fed-Ex. He
was born in Rockford, IL and still lives there (this is 45 minutes from where Amanda was born and raised :) ). He raced BMX bikes for 6 years and was the the Illinois State Champion when he was 16.
He still enjoys riding. His favorite band is Mudvayne and his favorite bass player is Ryan Martinie.
Musical Background: Shawn is a self-taught bass player.
He wanted to start playing after he saw his uncle's band practice. He got his first bass when he was 15. He is
endorsed by Mesa/Boogie amplifiers. His main bass is a 5-string Warwick thumb bolt-on. He also has a Spector Legend
4 and a Warwick Corvette FNA. His pedal board is an Ernie Ball Jr volume pedal, Korg tuner, Boss bs-3 bass synth,
Boss bass chorus, and a Digitec bass distortion. His rack is a Korg tuner, DBX 131 e.q., an Avalon U5 d.i., Ampeg
classic pre-amp, Shure wireless, Peavey cs3000 power amp and a Crown xs500 power amp (back-up).
